TEYANA TAYLOR’S 70’S INSPIRED MUSIC VIDEO CAUSING MAJOR FEELINGS, GLOSSIER’S NEW MAKEUP LINE — GLOSSIER PLAY, AND MORE

Teyana Taylor has blessed us with a beautiful new visual for her song, “Hold On/Issues.” It co-stars both artist and social media influencers including, A$AP Rocky, Tyler the Creator, A$AP Ferg, Kristen Crawley, and Lori Harvey. This 70s inspired clip is truly soul pleasing, with its seemingly accurate aesthetic. In the video, A$AP Rocky and Teyana (“Mrs. Taylor if you nasty”) play as an on-screen husband and wife that are having issues in their marriage due to Taylor’s over-protectiveness and daddy issues.

“Don’t give me no reason to go through your phone. This is deeper than you and other women, this is daddy issues. This is years putting up with the real time n—.”

Can we say that louder for the people in the back!  Taylor continues to be a woman with pure tenacity and a perfectionist grind, in her career. It shows in how hard she works and continues through her artistry; she touches upon real issues that women struggle within love in her music. Not to mention, every outfit was coordinated to perfection. Enticing me to want to jump back into the 70s era, to get my groove on in some bell bottoms, paired with a cropped blouse. Lastly, don’t sleep on the “Spike Tee Joints,” (Teyana Taylor references herself as the “Spike Lee” of the music video industry) because her direction for music videos are killing the game. Watch it above now!

Glossier Play

Now it’s time to play! Glossier Play is a new line of makeup perfect for going out and achieving the best looks to “show off!” Glossier Inc., introduced the new color collection in mid-March which contains bolder colors that pop, glitter and will create major beauty vibes for anyone who dares to wear. To be honest, Glossier Play is the teenage daughter of the original Glossier line; with it’s more fun and funkier palettes. While the original line’s motto is “less is more.”

The line features four new make-up products and two tools including: Niteshine, a pearly highlighter; Vinylic Lip, a high shine lip lacquer; Glitter Gelée, a jazzy glitter gel; Blade, a pencil eyeliner sharpener, Colorslide, a long-lasting gel eyeliner pencil; and The Detailer, an applicator for the Glitter Gelée. All of which look playfully colorful and ready for anything. Street Muse of The Week: Rowan Blanchard
