Instagrams of The Week - Halloween EditionCourtesy of Instagram
Spooky season is here, and just like the upcoming presidential election, we’re feeling the suspense of the unknown. But who cares about ominous outcomes when there’s so much holiday magic (and mayhem) to dive into? Halloween kicks off the season, and let’s be honest—it’s not just about scares; it’s about owning the eerie, embracing the glam, and finding any excuse to dress up fabulously.
At LF, we love a good ghost story as much as the next ghoul, but it’s the stylishly spooky over the shockingly gory that gets our pulse racing. This year, the costume creativity was on another level! From celebs to social media icons, everyone delivered some serious looks, proving Halloween is the unofficial runway for the bold and the bewitching.
This year, celebrities went all out, making Halloween a high-fashion affair. Selena Gomez and her beau nailed it as Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter—a whimsical, stylish twist on the classic duo. Beyoncé, ever the queen of clues, might’ve given us a sneak peek at her Renaissance trilogy finale, transforming into the funk legend Prince alongside Vanity, the ultimate "Nasty Girl." Meanwhile, Ciara threw it back to the 90s as supermodel Naomi Campbell, rocking one of Azzedine Alaïa’s iconic catsuits from his Fall/Winter ‘91 runway—pure archival gold.
Not to be outdone, Lizzo went hilariously meta, dressing as a literal face card (because of course, she’d never fold on her fabulosity!). But the undisputed Halloween champion? Janelle Monáe, who took the spooky season crown with an eerily spot-on E.T. costume, becoming the 1982 alien icon in a way that was both nostalgic and next-level.
With looks like these, Halloween isn’t just a holiday—it’s a masterclass in imagination, style, and a bit of cinematic nostalgia. Presenting our favorite, most stylish, and standout InstaMUSEs of the Week! From creative costumes to unforgettable looks, these icons took Halloween—and our feeds—to a whole new level.
