Time to Recharge and Get Busy!

How are we not floating above it all when we’re always the topic of conversation?
A celestial, ancestral divinity happens during the autumn equinox. This new autumn season evokes a moment of reflection and clarity, opening up new avenues of exploration and prosperity.

There is a deep discernment that comes with the change in weather, the chill in the wind that invites us to pull out those transeasonal pieces, from bold-colored knits and lightweight jackets to oversized statement trench coats, and all the leathery loafers and boots again!

Of course, it’s not just about your fashion transitioning. It’s about the change that happens with the season itself. Yes, the foliage will begin to change colors, but what’s most important is that we tap into a mode of responsibility again. The maturity that comes with the transition of the season. There is something about autumn’s chill, maybe even something a little more rigid. Still, within that, there is a breaking that happens, a growth that we all must be in tune with. And I believe Black women can continue to tap into that innate intuition.

It is our duty, as Mother Nature, to use those naturally given gifts and talents that so many try to stifle every other day. We see it. It’s apparent, and it’s blatant. But somehow, the resilience that is natural and a part of our souls makes the transition not only possible, but even more powerful.

I say it is our time. It has been our time, and it will continue to be our time to make change. Use the God-given independence innate within us to ride the wave of connectivity and resistance, as well as community.

Happy Autumn Equinox.🍂
