Amber Mark’s a New York City-based singer/songwriter dropped a new single and visual entitled “Mixer.” A straight shooting alternative-pop track that’s full of sass, bass and effervescent soul. Mark’s vocals are raspy, funky and hard-hitting as she sings about a guy she can’t get out of her head. While, she works through a New York City soundstage in fur coat, tinted sunnies and a patchwork denim jumpsuit. The visual is chock full of vintage cars, slick male onlookers (who double as dancers) and Marks grooving fly.

All the makings of a Pam Grier Blaxploitation remake for 2019; Marks owns the scene. Hopefully this is just a taste of more new music to come. The new song and visual is on the heels of her 90s reminiscent vibe “Put You On” featuring DRAM, and the late spring 2018 EP Conexão; Marks also just announced a UK and European tour starting in July. Watch the “Mixer” clip below.
