This month, we’re officially OOO — in spirit, if not in signature. We’re taking a laissez-faire approach to what’s left of summer, surrendering the need to control every moment and letting life unfold on its own sun-drenched schedule.
It’s about being unavailable (intentionally), on holiday (mentally, at least), and joyfully unreachable. Translation: no email replies until September. We've spent the better part of the year trudging through life’s shitty bazaaro version, full of chaos, unplanned happenings, and constantly playing the clean-up woman. We’re tired.
So, August? August is for soft sun rays, silky breezes and absolutely no guilt.
As summer begins its slow fade, we’re leaning into leisure, reflection and a little bit of lovely nothing. There’s hopefulness in the pause and grounding in letting go. Think of it as the pregame stretch before September’s main event: Fashion Month. Cultural stimulation is on the horizon. But for now, we rest — in style.
